How Important Is Headroom?

When you think about the storage shed that best suits your needs, you must also consider the headroom of that space. This is the space above the ground floor. For example, if you have a push mower, ride mower, or some grill, you have to put them all on the ground and sit together.

In a shed that offers more headroom, you can increase the amount of space you have to use by stacking items. For example, you can hang a ladder on the wall above the lawn mower so you have enough room for something else. You can also stack your patio furniture or your child's toys together.

When buying a cottage/tool shed, if you have things that can be stacked on top of each other, then make sure there is plenty of headroom. This also comes in handy when you have a lot of small items. Adding some shelves will allow you to make more use of this height.
