The role of greenhouses

Dec 03, 2022

A greenhouse is also called a conservatory. It provides light and heat preservation (or heating), and can be used for growing plants. In a broad sense, greenhouses are a kind of greenhouse, whose purpose is to maintain a certain temperature.

1. Reduce the humidity in the greenhouses without reducing the ground temperature: Since the greenhouse uses drip irrigation to water the crops directly in the local area, it will not form the surface runoff during flood irrigation. It can reduce the humidity in the shed. At the same time, because the water to be watered by drip irrigation is uniformly delivered to the roots of crops at the same time, it will not cause the decrease of ground temperature, and H can also effectively maintain the ground temperature.

2. It can improve the utilization rate of fertilizer and reduce fertilization: the use of drip irrigation in greenhouses can directly transfer the fertilizer needed by crops to the roots of plants evenly with water. Therefore, it will not cause the imbalance of water and fertilizer as in flood irrigation to waste fertilizer. Using drip irrigation can save 40 to 50 percent of fertilizer and 50 percent of water.

3. Reduce pests and diseases in the shed and reduce drug use: a variety of diseases in the greenhouse are mainly caused by excessive humidity, and the use of drip irrigation watering can reduce the humidity in the shed. So it will reduce the incidence of disease and reduce the conditions for the occurrence of disease, which will correspondingly reduce the number of drugs.

4. It can increase yield and mature earlier: the application of drip irrigation in greenhouses can create a suitable environment for the development of plants, promote the normal growth and metabolism of crops, and reduce the phenomenon of slow growth or fruitlessness caused by improper water use. Thus, to a certain extent, the crops mature early and improve the star yield.

5. Prevent the spread of soil-borne bacteria: The use of drip irrigation watering is to locally wet the crops directly, and the bacteria in the soil will not spread with the water like the mixed irrigation.

6. Activate the soil and enhance the permeability of the soil: traditional flood irrigation will cause soil hardening, poor permeability, and excessive water saturation, so that the root system is in a state of hypoxia. The phenomenon of retting or wounding the root. But the use of drip irrigation will not cause this situation.

7. Save labor, first effort and improve work efficiency: to use drip irrigation, you only need to open the valve and lift the electric switch, and you do not need to manually change the irrigation in the greenhouse, so that you can also engage in other agricultural activities during the irrigation. you only need to master the irrigation time and shut down at the right time.
